Being a dentist is fulfilling. I like being around and helping people, educating them about their oral health, and guiding individuals toward healthy smiles.
Working with my patients, I take time to listen and learn. Each patient is unique, with specific concerns and expectations, in addition to their clinical needs. It is my responsibility to understand what an individual wants and then identify the best approach for their situation. Rather than dictating treatment, I explain the options, answer the patient’s questions, and give them the information needed to make dental decisions that are right for them.
I want patients to feel safe and supported in the office, to be free of stress and worry, and to know I place their best interests as the top priority.
Background, Education, And Experience
I grew up in Gujarat, India and graduated with my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dharamsinh Desai University in 2011. I then moved to Vancouver in 2012 and attended Farleigh Dickinson University, where I received a Master in Administrative Science (MAS) in 2013.
Dental school was the next step in my career. I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Southern California in 2018 and have been in practice since that time.
As a dentist, I enjoy educating patients about oral wellness and the connection between a healthy mouth and body. Empowering people to take control of their dental health helps them gain self-esteem and confidence, as their smile becomes healthier and more attractive.

Beyond The Practice
When I go home in the evening it’s to spend time with my wife, who is pursuing her dream to practice dentistry. We enjoy walks in the park and longer hikes, and love to travel to explore new-to-us destinations and cuisines. I also enjoy playing cricket in my spare time.
Dentistry, for me, is all about returning smiles and confidence. A mixture of art and science, when delivered ethically can change people’s lives and leave a positive impression. I believe in eliminating pain, restoring function and educating my patient about their oral health, to help them enjoy a better quality of life.
Background, Education, And Experience
I grew up in New Delhi (India) and received my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India. After practicing dentistry for two years in India, I moved to Canada in 2012 and went through a CDA program in Windsor, Ontario.
After gaining some clinical experience, I decided to go back to school – one of the best decisions I have ever made. I graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University of Alberta in 2019. I have since then been practicing in Vancouver.
We as a team, believe in treating each patient as an individual, placing their health and wellbeing at the forefront, and guide them to making informed decisions.
We also share a genuine appreciation for the opportunity to serve others. With warmth, kindness, and humility, we provide the personalized service and attentive care we would want for ourselves and our family members.

Dentistry, like all areas of healthcare, is continually evolving. Research leads to new technologies and techniques, which can impact diagnosis, treatment, and outcome. It is my responsibility to stay current on the latest developments so I can deliver the best care. I am a certified Botox provider and regularly take courses, participate in training, and attend professional gatherings in order to learn from the leaders in the oral healthcare.
Beyond The Practice
In my spare time I enjoy exploring local food restaurants with my Spouse. I follow an active lifestyle and love going for walks. Following dentistry, I am obsessed with home décor and interiors.

How often you go for dental exams depends on your oral health needs. The goal is to catch small problems early. For many people, this means a dental exam every six months. Your dentist may suggest that you visit more or less often depending on how well you care for your teeth and gums, problems you have that need to be checked or treated, how fast tartar builds up on your teeth, and so on.
How often you need to have x-rays also depends on your oral health. A healthy adult who has not had cavities or other problems for a couple of years probably won't need x-rays at every appointment. If your dental situation is less stable and your dentist is monitoring your progress, you may require more frequent x-rays.
Original dental records belong to the dentist who provided the treatment, and not the patient, because dentists have to keep all of their records for a period of time, as set out by their provincial dental regulatory body. Once you have selected a new dentist, you can request that a copy of your records be transferred from your former dentist.
